Montréal Pride recognizes the invaluable contribution of 2SLGBTQIA+ community organizations that both in Montréal and throughout Québec’s regions, work tirelessly to support the members of our communities, to counter the discrimination we face and advance our rights. In order to highlight and participate in the work of these groups and showcase artists from our local communities and elsewhere, Montréal Pride has, for several years, put in place a funding program for projects developed by 2SLGBTQIA+ community organizations.

Montréal Pride is pleased to announce that in 2022, a total of 36 projects will be carried out by 2SLGBTQIA+ community organizations thanks to the record amount of financial support of $125,000. This year, in order to better respond to the realities and the needs of the sector, the projects will be scheduled throughout the summer, starting May 21 up to August 7, notably in Montréal, but also in the cities of Val-d’Or, Saint-Hyacinthe, Chicoutimi, Magog and Sherbrooke, thus reaching a wider audience of 2SLGBTQIA+ persons facing their own realities and challenges.

We invite all 2SLGBTQIA+ persons and their allies to participate in the remarkable projects your local organizations will implement and to join together in celebrating our achievements while continuing to work for the advancement of our rights.
